WHO WE ARE

We're some pretty ordinary people from a very ordinary town, Uncasville, Connecticut, who have had our lives touched, transformed and saved by Jesus Christ. We're so thankful that Jesus let's us partner with Him in situations where people need a  helping hand and some encouragement in life. Everything we do is done in Jesus Name.

2011 Focus: Haiti and Katrina Gulf Coast

 WHHH Logo
No special skills required to join a team in 2011, just a desire to serve.  We are planning six teams to Haiti and four teams to the Katrina Gulf Coast to help people rebuild their lives spiritually and physically. We would love to have you come along! Sign up today!

WHERE WE SERVE

We can't be everywhere, although we'd like be to, but we've been able to serve and mobilize volunteers nationally and internationally. We've been involved in building orphanages and responding to natural disasters in Nicaragua, building churches in in Mexico and Chile, rebuilding homes in the Gulf Coast, serving meals to police, firefighters and steel workers at Ground Zero in New York, organizing evangelistic outreaches and serving people in a variety of difficult situations.   In 2011 we are focusing our efforts in Haiti rebuilding after the devastating earthquake, and continuing our work in the Gulf Coast of the United States following Hurricane Katrina.

Haiti western hemisphere
Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere and recently experienced a devastating earthquake, flooding and a cholera outbreak.  Haiti is our 2011 focus.

WHY WE SERVE

We are followers of Jesus, saved by His grace.  We are convinced that we are not saved, made right with God, by doing good works, but because of what jesus did for us.  We are grateful and are thrilled to follow Him and serve in His Name. everything we do is because of Jesus.

We would love to see everyone come to Christ, but we freely serve anybody and everybody in His Name. If you never accepted Jesus as your  Savior a clear and simple explanation is found here in the've Four Spiritual Laws.

HOW WE SERVE

We serve people by mobilizing volunteers from throughout the United States from every walk of life.  Everything we do is done in Jesus Name as students, retired folks, moms, young people, people using their vacation time, contractors, youth groups, church groups, campus groups, and individuals join together to get the work done.  Our work is done by people Willing Hearts and Helping Hands.
